Ｒｅｐｌｙ ｔｏ Ｔｅｒａ
Because of the Great Firewall of China I can't read my own blog. I can post, but not read.

I went by hard sleeper - it was certainly fine and Ｉ had no trouble at all. And yeah, the $460 thing stings a bit - my TD Student Line of Credit, and my future earnings，ａｒｅ funding this trip, so I'm afraid you can't get in on this. Unless, that is, you'd like to switch careers with me...
And yeah Beijing seems pretty dirty compared to Toronto and London, but maybe I should reserve my judgement until I visit some other unsavoury places, like Hanoi, perhaps?
