Retarded computers

I wanted to put up some pictures. I even have the time to do it right now. I have the CD in front of me! I'm ready to go!

Problem: this computer does not have a working CD drive. No computer at this guesthouse does. I can't believe this abject stupidity. Also, I hesitate to use a Chinese internet cafe for more than about 20 minutes because doing that greatly heightens the risk of lung cancer.

So no pictures for now. Sorry.

I wanted to thank you for the postcard :) It got here earlier this week and I was so happy to get it. I almost had a 'breakthrough moment' when i was reading it. You said I should definitely travel once i'm done with my 'current gig'...well the truth is, i don't know if i really want to wait that long. I feel totally unprepared for buying a car right now, and it just makes so much more sense to spend that money travelling...but alas, this is my problem, and nothing for you to worry about. :) thanks for the postcard again!
